Lucy Boston famed for her Green Knowe children's books and her wonderful garden of old roses at her Norman manor house was less well known for her beautiful and original patchworks she made. However since her passing in 1990 the patchworks have become a legend in their own right. This is a marvellous book written by Diana Boston; Lucy Boston's daughter-in-law who now lives at the Manor house. Featuring beautiful photography to capture Lucy's incredible body of work to inspire and delight with descriptions on each patchwork including extracts from Lucy Boston's letters and writings at the time she made them to create a thoughtful and rare historical collection of textile art.
