Pattern Errata & Updates

I make a huge effort to ensure my patterns are correct, accurate and a pleasure to sew. However sometimes things do slip through the net. Please contact me via email if you think there might be an error. A new PDF copy will be emailed to you as soon as it is resolved.

Corrections noted in BOLD.

 

Errata Date: 22/08/17

HANDY HUSWIF (1st edition printing, purchased only at Festival Of Quilts 2017) 

There are two cutting errors listed on the Cutting Instructions page.

> From interior fabric, cut: (1) 5.5" x 7.25" vinyl pocket background (also adjust for matching piece in fusible interfacing)

> From vinyl fabric, cut: (1) 5.5" x 5.5"

Missing from Cutting Instructions > From fusible interfacing, cut: (1) 5.5" x 13" upper interior 

Step 4: Assemble section. Diagram does not show the interior facing piece situated between divided pocket section and vinyl pocket.

Step 3b. You do not need to fuse interfacing to divided pocket background. Please ignore this instruction. 

 

Errata Date: 23/08/17

JET-SET SEWING STATION (1st edition printing, purchased only at Festival Of Quilts 2017) 

There is one small cutting error listed on the Cutting Instructions page. It will still work with the original cutting instructions but making this 1/8" difference will ensure your zipper tabs and side facings line up perfectly within the vinyl pocket. 

> From interior accent A fabric, cut: (2) 2" x 3.75"

When folding your zipper tabs please ensure you fold in half so shorter sides meet together. The wording of the instructions could be taken to read fold along the length of the zipper tab, which is incorrect.

When you have sewn your side facings to the vinyl, finger press seams outwards.

JET-SET SEWING STATION (2nd edition printing - purchased up to 21/03/18)

Step 1: Make Vinyl Pocket - (g) Trim to 9.25" wide x 6.75" long if required. Should read: Trim to 9.25" wide x 6.25" if required.

JET-SET SEWING STATION (3rd edition printing)

Cutting diagram for fusible interfacing is not accurate. You will need a 21" wide piece, not 18" as shown.

Cutting diagram for interior contrast fabric is not accurate. You will need a 9.75" wide fabric, not 9" as shown.
