The Brimfield pattern is an English Paper Piecing (EPP) pattern that will make a finished quilt measuring 61" x 47".
The EPP blocks are appliqued onto a square of fabric to make a complete block. The quilt is made up of 12 blocks total. Originally inspired by an orphaned quilt block unearthed at the Brimfield Antiques Show in Massachusetts by Kim Martucci and Nisha Bouri. The beauty of this quilt pattern is the two negative spaces that result when the blocks are assembled - both inside each block and within the lattice work of the pieced blocks, which lends itself to beautiful quilting once your top is finished. Have fun re-creating the blocks in an array of rainbow Liberty lawns!
Please note the pattern does not include templates - paper pieces and acrylic templates are sold separately, please see links below.
