Tulip Hiroshima Piecing needles feature a sharp needle point with good piercing characteristics and a very strong needle body, ideal for hand piecing. Similar to a 'Sharps' needle, it is the thickest when comparing to Silk, Appliqué, Milliners and Sewing ranges (the #7 Sewing needle is thicker). It works well for hand sewers with a strong grip and will accommodate 50wt thread and finer. The size #9 needle is a touch shorter than size #8. Size changes in length only. Needles are made of steel, and feature the unique 'Superior Polished Finish'.
